CARING FOR YOUR SELENITE
Caring for your Selenite is easy because it has the ability to self-cleanse and recharge itself. It is the only other crystal, besides Apophyllite, that can do so. Even so, Selenite should be handled with care. It is a soft crystal and should not be stored haphazardly with other crystals, to keep the surface of it from being scratched or damaged. When storing it away, it is best to wrap it in soft fabric, such as satin or silk. Selenite dissolves in water or liquid, so for that reason, it must be kept dry. It is best to keep it out of direct sunlight, in order to keep it from losing its luster or cracking. To clean off your selenite, all you have to do is dust it gently with a soft, gentle cloth.
Selenite is the ‘Higher Truth’ stone and a conduit for a deeper relationship with the spiritual plane. It is not your average, everyday crystal you can throw in a drawer or use for decorative purposes only. A Selenite crystal should be used in a careful and respectful manner daily, in order to receive its full power and benefits.
